Commencement ceremony of the European Vascular Anomalies (E.V.A.)

The vision of a Vascular Anomalies clinic in Athens, Greece, was formulated 15 years ago, inspired by Dr. Tombris’s specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular anomalies along with his will to support children and adults facing the hardship of living with these distressing entities. As a vascular lesions expert, he has always believed that patients may benefit more by being treated by a multi-disciplinary team in organized facilities. With this belief in mind, he focused on offering tenaciously his exclusive knowledge and expertise to vascular anomalies patients and at the same time, exploring ways to improve the overall level of services to his patients. A fellow visionary with a genuine interest and unconditional support, came on board to further enforce and eventually actualize this ambition: Mr. George Koukis, a successful entrepreneur and great philanthropist. A team of other specialists joined, forming the multi-disciplinary team, administering their invaluable knowledge in a clinic equipped with advanced medical technology in state-of-the-art facilities. European Vascular Anomalies clinic was hypostatized, aiming to provide the highest level of services to its patients.
